The schedule for each night’s events has been held until mid- or late-afternoon for the first three days of the convention, meaning it’s possible that P!nk’s time slot won’t be known until shortly beforehand.

Singer James Taylor was supposed to perform Monday, but was cut due to scheduling overruns. On Tuesday, Lil Jon performed and on Wednesday John Legend is expected to follow.

There’s precedent for pop stars opening for Democratic nominees. In 2016, Katy Perry performed ahead of Hillary Clinton’s acceptance speech.

P!nk endorsed Harris on a July 26 Zoom call five days after President Biden abandoned his campaign for. a second term.

Harris, 59, would be America’s first woman to serve as president and has used a different musician’s music for her campaign anthem — walking on stage and off to Beyonce’s “Freedom” as she uses the word to describe her policies such as restoring abortion rights.

The DNC did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
